I wanted to blog the whole day. But I had to do some homework first (something only a Lowell student would say). Hope I remember everything I wanted to say, here goes:
I had to act the role of Biff in Death of a Salesman for the last scene. There's a crying scene, but I didn't actually cry. I think that would be too extreme for classroom theater (or as they spell it in England, Theatre). Also, my teacher later started talking about how we never see ourselves for what we really are. He said the room is full of losers. I just looked around the room laughing, but nobody was laughing. I guess I was the only one who found that funny. I'm comfortable with my loserish status.
I forgot everything else I wanted to say. I hate that, I should start writing down things. Um, lets see
Mr. Rogers passed away today. I never really watched his show. Selina brought up Barney. I heard a rumor Barney was really a black guy inside the costume, any truth to that? Could Barney really be a homie ?
Ooo, baseball season is coming. Spring training is finally here!! This is great because of many reasons. 1. I can make a living selling baseball cards on eBay. Once a player gets hot, the money comes in. 2. I usually go to a few games in the summer whether it's A's or Giants. $1 Wednesdays for the A's was great. I think we bought 20 $1 hotdogs and 20 $1 root beer floats. I also got to take my picture with the celebrity ice cream scooper, super star anchor Dennis Richmond! Amazing. 3. I love the days I can just sit on my bed and watch baseball games and highlights. Cable is great. I can't wait until summer...
So here's the last thing I wanna talk about. Last month, my grandmother passed away. My uncle told me that she left necklaces for me, Dave (my brother), and Michelle (my cousin, who is a year older than me). So here's the weird thing I'll never figure out. The necklaces are for our future husband/wives, so I'll be giving it to my wife one day, assuming I get married. I think it was my grandma's way of showing approval although she couldn't be there to meet her. But my grandmother gave only necklaces to the children of her sons (my dad and my uncle Jeff). My dad had me and Dave, and my uncle Jeff had Michelle, and three other girls. I don't know why she gave one to me. If she wanted to give it to her eldest grandchildren on her sons' side, she would've just given it to Dave and Michelle. If she wanted to give it to all the grandchildren on her sons' side, she would've given it to me, Dave, michelle, AND her three sisters. Sorry to confuse you. I just can't figure out why she gave me one. I'm not complaining, just curious as to why she stopped at me and didn't have necklaces for all six of us.
Dave did say my dad was my grandma's favorite child (she had five children, two sons and three duaghters). My dad looked EXACTLY like his father, it's amazing. Dave said my grandma would always look at my dad when we were at the dinner table, probably since my dad looked so much like my grandma's husband. By the way, my dad's father passed away very young from cancer, so I never got to meet him. So now with my grandma passing away too, my dad is now the head of the family, him being the eldest son and all.
I'll leave it at that. Good night.
