I'll recap Sunday:

On Sunday, I went to church. We had the championship game for the basketball tournament. Some people (i.e. Wayne) are still talking about last week's controversial call at the end. Wayne claims he was "raped" by three of my teammates, that resulted in Franklin scoring the game winning shot. Anyway, we played the Junior team today. We were winning 10-3 at halftime, but we only won by 1. I missed 3 of my 4 free throws, which could've been costly, but we managed to hold them off, unlike the recent Warriors. I had to use all my Todd Fuller/Troy Murphy rebounding tactics. I'll dedicate this game to my brother. If you'd like to know why, ask me and I shall tell you.

Afterwards, I tutored for a little bit. My tutor got a C on his report card in math(he got A's and B's in every other subject), so that didn't make me look good. He did pretty bad on a couple of his tests he took in mid Feb. I guess I am partly to blame, I missed two weeks of tutoring in mid Feb to do something else. But still, he just made some easy mistakes, and hopefully I can help him get back to an A. The mom even told me she hoped I went to city or SF State so i could tutor him next year when he gets into high school. She says she wants me to be a good influence on him. Me, a good influence? It's nice to know I'll have that job next year if I'm still around, but I guess she hasn't seen my ghetto Troy Murphy rapping skills I've been hiding.

After that, I went back in time for the FS Key reunion. I haven't sene Ivy in 8 years, so that was nice to finally see her again. They were so bored, that they went to watch me play softball for a little. I didn't get a chance to do some batting practice and show them some homeruns, shucks. Maybe next time.

During the softball game, a girl from the other team grounded the ball to me at third base and I threw her out at first. Then Jeff and Bernard started lecturing me on Chivalry, saying how it's gone in today's world. Hmm, was I wrong to throw out the girl at first base? I noticed Brian bobbled the ball on purpose and let her reach first base later in the game. I see it as two ways: 1. I don't think the girl wants a pity hit. If it were me, I wouldn't want to reach base, or score a basket, or catch a touchdown, just because the opponent felt sorry for me. I'd prefer to earn my victory. But I can see it as 2. It's only her first or second time coming to softball, and if she grounded out to me all the time and I threw her out all the time, she might get frustrated and never come back to play. I know the feeling of giving 100% and always coming up short. Jeff, chivalry still exists. There are definately do's and dont's when it comes to treating ladies (Oh, trust me, I know, hehehehehehhehehe ). I'll give it some more thought and come up with a plan next time we play softball. I guess it also applies when we play with kids, am I wrong to throw out a kid? Anybody have any answers for me?

Here's something on my mind. I was standing on the bus on Friday and there was a gay guy talking next to me. How did I know he was gay? Well I could definately tell from his appearance, but more from his voice. So it got me wondering, what does a gay guy really sound like? Most gay people I see in general talk gayish (as opposed to English, Spanish, or Yiddish). You know what I mean, they have that tone. I wonder what they really sound like, when they just talk normally. We all know nobody is born with that tone. We just get so used to their gayish tone that we forget what their normal voice really sounds like. That's something to ponder about.

Why did I bring that up? Who knows, my mind is filled with stupid things. Bye.
