Ophelia has been trying to fix my template and all (I'm stupid when it comes to HTML text, so I leave it up to her. Whatever she does with this site, it will be that way until she decides to change it. I just write).

Today I got spanked by the world. Not literally of course. My day started off pretty bad and slowly got worse until it was finally over. Let me begin:

As you may or may not know, my Spanish grade has slowly declined from a C+ to possible a D this grading period. I plan to go to City and then transfer to Berkeley for college, but I think Berkeley will only accept me if I finish this semester of Spanish and pass, which is why its got me worried and I'm thinking about it so much. By the way, I don't want to talk about college right now because I'm just concentrating on finishing high school, so college blogging will begin the minute I graduate. Anyway, it's a long story, but I told my parents about my situation, and they wanted me to talk to my Spansih teacher, which I did today. My teacher really favors the girls, but at least he was willing to talk with me about my grade, and he sounded like I had some hope to pass. So that went ok.

Today was the Color Wars Rally at Lowell. I didn't want to attend because I would just sit in the bleachers for two hours cheering people run around on the football field. So instead I went to Stonestown and Borders just to pass the time. I decide to go back a little early since I had nothing else to do, and what happens, I get caught by the dean. She takes down my name and reg, and lets me go. So I'm a little worried, considering I don't need any more trouble from my parents. So later I just go ask the dean what's going to happen to me, and she tells me I need to pick up a bag of garbage. I was like "That's it?!!" So I just picked up a bag full of garbage during my free mod and got out of that situation. What a load of crap (the bag of garbage and this policy). The Lowell Newspaper came out today, and most people just left it out on the tables, so I used that to fill half my bag. I saw that i wasn't the only one that got caught though, there was a whole line of people outside the deans office trying to clear their name. So here's what I got from this: 1. Lowell is about to cut 15-19 teachers, yet we have the dumbest security ever. They had guards posted on all exits trying to catch kids. If Lowell is going to waste their money on "guards" looking for kids, don't go around firing teachers. Lowell teachers educate children, Lowell guards sit around and get fatter. 2. Norm the volleyball "coach" was one of the "guards" telling people not to leave. He needs to get a real job, and no, coaching boys volleyball 6 days a week doesn't count as a job, nor does "guarding" a school exit. 3. If you feel like doing something, do it. Just try harder than I did to not get caught.

I survived the day. Now that spring break is here, I'll have lots of free time.

Sidenote: For all of you that have read the following post, I just want to make one thing clear. I hope I don't come off sounding like an ungrateful whiner, because that's not what I intended. I wanted to use this site to talk about stuff in my life I normally wouldn't share with anybody, and it just so happens I like talking about the bad stuff because it's like therapy. I know there's a whole bunch of other things out there worse than my situation, like the war, and people dying and starving. This is just my outlet to share my thoughts, and if I offend anybody, well, what can I say. For all of you dedicated Lowell Security fans out there I offended today, get a life. Just thought I needed to share that. Bye everybody.
