Today although it was raining, me, Pat, and his little cousins Derek and Eric went to the Giants game. We waited in the car before deciding to go in. The game was an hour late due to the rain delay, but we ended up getting the highest seats possible in the stadium. But we had an overhead cover from the rain, so it was better than the bleachers. The Giants lost, and that kinda sucked, but it was still a good time. Finally got to see Foppert pitch, although he gave up 2 runs in one inning pitched. And I got my share of Boo's on Jeff Kent. Me and Pat signed up for those Visa credit cards for the free gifts. He got a Giants beach towel that was really dusty, and I got this bobble head of a white guy wearing #1, which is actually Neifi Perez's number. I might just paint the number 25 on it and sell it on eBay as an error Barry Bonds white man bobblehead. Another interesting story was that there was this group sitting in front of us, maybe 10 or so of them. Slowly as the innings went on, they left one by one. One of them brought a giant bad of peanuts with him, but left it there. Me and Pat were eyeing that huge bag the whole game. it wasn't until the end of the game that the coast was clear, and all of the group members left, so we took the bag and left. There was this one old white guy sitting a few seats next to the peanuts who stayed in his seat afterwards too, so I had this feeling he was eyeing the peanuts as well. But too bad for you sucker, I got them. As I'm writing, my dad is upstairs digging into the bag. Don't worry Pat, I'll save some for you.
I guess that's all the interesting things for today. i was watching a lot of the kids at the ballpark, and how their parents and grandparents treated them. I have a feeling I won't spoil my kid if I have one, but I probably would spoil my niece or newphew, and my grandchildren if it gets that far. I see all those old people and parents buying $5 Lemonades and $3 cotton candy for their little kids, and it makes me wonder, I'll probably end up doing that kind of stuff, It's weird to me because i try not to spend a lot of money on myself, but I suppose today was an exception. Man, that ballpark food is expensive.
Ok, enough jibberish. Good night.
