"You have to take a chance on something sometime" - Jim Halpert.

It was a nice day. Everyone has AP Econ, so nobody showed up to most of my classes. I also had an Orchestra concert today at Yerba Buena, which as far as I can recall, is the first field trip I've been to during my four years at Lowell. We took a schoolbus there, and since all the seniors I know have dropped out of orchestra, or bumped up to symphonic, I usually don't talk to anyone, except two or three people. I barely talk to my own stand partner, not because I hate her, but because chatting during an orchestra class just doesn't seem right. Anyway, Yerba Buena was really windy, so chairs, stands, and music were flying everywhere as we were playing. We had to use clothespins. I remember playing a song and behind me I hear a chair blow over. But anyway, since we played there, the directors of the festival gave us free tickets to the Merry Go Round. I've never been on one of those, so it was cool. Jeff Toy asks me if I want to sit in the "Love Seat" with him. I say ok, that's a whole lot better than riding a pony. Then he realizes its called a carriage, not a "love seat." I'm glad he changed it to a carriage.

For some reason, today's field trip made me realize that there were some good times at Lowell. I've been busy trying to get out that now that I have three weeks left, i might come to miss it. I think its just the familiarity of coming to school day in and day out that is comforting. Now I'm going to have to start all over at City, meaning everything I hoped for at Lowell that didn't come true, won't.

I had a nice talk with Angie today since nobody showed up to class, so we just sat and discussed stuff like changing the world, church, and college. She's going to City too, so if we ever have class together, at least I'll have one friend. It's funny, but she told me I sounded like I had the ideas to change the world. Maybe I'lla ct on these ideas some time.

You ever wish you were one or two years younger because there's someone in a different grade you'd like to get to know (such as a girl), but never will, simply because you never had a class with her or it felt too awkward to introduce yourself to her? Yea, me too.

As I was walking home a guy talking on his cell phone was walking up the stairs in front of me and tripped, falling on his stomach. I tried not to laugh, that was hilarious.

So what's the point of today's message? 1. Enjoy whatever is left in what you are doing. And if you're just starting something new, start with a bang 2. If someone believes you can change the world, maybe it's time you start believing that you can. 3. Perhaps we were never meant to know the people w want to the most. 4. Guys who trip look stupid.

Good night world.
