What a flurry of interesting blogs/xangas. I hope I can keep up the high level of blogging. Here goes:

1. Yesterday was the picnic. It turned out a lot better than I expected. There were some kids who ended up going, and a few kids I wished they invited. But it's like that every year. One of my friends knows the system and only talks to the kids he knows will be invited. I can't do that, and I wouldn't want to. But anyway, I hope many of these kids come back, and continue to stay. I'd like to think spending my summer and volunteering reaps some benefits.

2. Elisa and Melissa started talking with Wayne and Garson about soulmates and all that jazz. Elisa sounds like she's more into finding Mr. Right than I am finding Ms. Right. People tell me I need to be less depressed about that stuff, so I will stop worrying about that stuff, and so should you Elisa! You already have a boyfriend. In a way, single life isn't too bad. I'll go chill in my bachelor's pad later, aka, my bedroom.

3. Spent today cleaning up the building and copying papers for next years camp. Melvin bought us each a hamburger and fries from In and Out. That was the "free lunch." Brandon Powerwong started talking about unicorns. I think the work got to him.

4. People out there need to understand I'm just a regular guy. I'm super flattered, but I'm nothing too special, and there are millions of guys out there. You've got a lifetime to find the one. I don't mean to hurt anybody's feelings. I hope you see me as honest, and I don't want to lead anybody on. I'm just a guy, I'm Allan.

5. I guess people spend so much time around me they expect things from me. They expect me to be the nice guy, the funny guy, the Christian, the smart guy who went to Lowell, or the friend. And sometimes when I'm not one of those things, even for a day, people wonder why. I can't always be everything you think I am.

6. My friend told me yesterday "People do change, but not really." Maybe that's true. I guess i'm the kind of guy who will treat you with respect if you treat me with respect. Respect is really the driving force in me. It's the reason why I am the way I am.

Hope this blog made some sense. Thanks for reading.
