So the past few days have been pretty slow. In the history of days, these three might be the slowest ever. If Kenny and Selina weren't around, I'd be even lonelier (it would be just like my days at Lowell). Well on Tuesday I started at 10:00, so I decided to get to school around 9:20. Turns out both parking lots were filled! I spent 30 minutes just circling. By 9:50, I decided to leave the lots and try the streets. Luckily, I did find a space at 9:55 and had to run to class like a freshie with a giant backpack (aint no shame in that).
I was reading a sign today that said half the people that transfer don't get their intended major. That's bad news for me. I'm hoping to get a Berkeley's Economics degree. But I'm only guaranteed admission into their College of Letters and Science if i maintain a 3.5. That doesn't mean I'll get the econ degree, just into the letters and sciences. And I don't really have a backup plan. CCSF doesn't offer certain classes I would need to transfer to Davis' Managerial Economics (the closest thing to business they have). I suppose if Berkeley is a punk and rejects me even if I do have a 3.5 or better, I will go to SF State. Even then, I'd still have to take certain classes that meet their requirements, meaning i'll probably have to stay an extra semester at City. My brother says all I can do is just concentrate on getting my grades and worry about that stuff later. And it's true, there really isn't much I can do about it now. Just seems like a waste of time. But when I look around at my friends who've had college trouble too and see they're doing fine in life, I guess there is some comfort in that.
And I know you're all wondering. No, I haven't met any hot girls at CCSF yet. And no, there's nobody in my classes except gay guys and lesbians. Sorry Jeff, I failed you.
Have fun to all you people going to Willits. And Alex, watch out for that wandering camera by you know who. If you notice some pictures missing, you know something is up.
