It's been a slow day. This is the second Saturday in a row I've woken up early to do homework (early meaning before 10:00 AM), and I must say, it makes me feel like I accomplished something. I feel like crap when I wake up at 12:00 because I just wasted a perfectly good morning. So anyway, the Saturday Night Live rerun when Kate Hudson hosted was on the Comedy Channel today. I actually saw parts of it before, I just didn't know who she was back then. Watching that made my day. Speaking of tv, the season premiere of ER is next week. And in the trailer for the first episode, they say somebody dies. Now I have to watch it to find out who it is.

Yesterday night we had a BBQ fellowship at church. The food wasn't too bad, I ate plenty of hot dogs. Martin got too much corn. Alex is a studly stud now as MC over on the high school side. Now people have to do whatever he tells them do. But I don't think any girls will have any problems doing that. HeHeHe.

So Friday was our US History test. Meaning on Thursday Freddy called my cell phone. He wanted to know about 10 of the 40 ID's we had. Almost all of them could be found in our textbook, yet he never thought about that. When I told him that things could be found by looking in the index in the back of the book, he says "Oh, is it in alphabetical order?" Yes Freddy, the index is in alphabetical order. It's pretty hard to find things when it's not.

For every ID, we need to write one sentence on what the topic is, and another sentence on why it's significant. Here is also a sample of our 8 minute talk:

Freddy: "So what is the 19th amendment?"
Allan: "It's the amendment that let women vote in the election for President."
Freddy: "Oh. So why is it significant?"
Allan: "Because it let women vote."
Freddy: "Oh. So it's the same?"
Allan: "Well they didn't always have the chance to vote in the past."
Freddy: "Oh. Ok."

Some of you think I'm a mean guy for making fun of him. Shannon says I have a lot of anger. I suppose I can be mean and do have lots of furious anger. But this is just one guy you have to meet and you'll feel what I feel. You'll know what I know. You'll fear what I fear...
