This will be a special Holiday Blogger version.
So today was our church's Christmas Concert. We had many false starts to songs because nobody looks at the conductor and just begins playing whenever they want. Otherwise, the concert was ok. I sat next to Elisa and we exchanged Christmas cards. She said she spent a long time writing my card, so when I go home to read it, it's about two sentences worth. Laura made cookies and was giving them out. People like me, Elisa, and Cal took some. Dave said while he was in the audience watching us before the concert, he saw Cal on the platform eating a cookie. He found it odd because nobody else had one. I guess eating cookies is like one of those pregame rituals we all have. Anyway, I got many nice cards and gifts, and it's much appreciated. Selina got me a nice sweatshirt and poster (sorry Kenny, there's no women on the poster, or bikini's, but Guitar Chords), Peony got me a nice beenie (that's bennie, not Bennie), and Ophelia got me the Corky Romano DVD (in my opinion, one of the top 5 greatest movies ever). That's actually my first movie DVD (I don't really count Back To The Future Trilogy or the ER Season 1 DVD's). So when MTV Cribs comes by and wants to see my collection, people will think I'm even more of a loser than they do now.
My friend Joe actually said something very cool. He said buying/giving gifts isn't really too important, because you don't need to buy something to show another person you care about them. And that made me think, and he's right. So with that in mind, next year, nobody will get anything from me. Haha, jk, lol, brb.
Today me, Dave, Pat, Cal, Cal's friend Howard, and Ben Lee went to go play basketball at Lowell. We lost to the same group we played last time 16-14. Ben was absolutely killing. But I had to sub out twice because I was so winded and my heart felt like it was going to explode, like in the cartoons! I haven't even used my treadmill much since we bought it. I think I need to start exercising. I'll be back for those guys, and maybe we'll be able to get revenge next Sunday. I still need to get revenge on Dick Tracy but there's no Thursday volleyball for one or two more weeks. I'll build up the anger and take it out on him later.
I need to find some productive things to do in the next three weeks so everyday doesn't feel wasted. My brother is going to think up some suggestions later. He wanted me to clean my closet, but I refuse. That's just boring. I need something fun, something adventurous. Maybe I'll join the circus.
My Experiment has been going slow. I bought another $18 worth of stuff on eBay today. The cards I bought two weeks ago still haven't come, and the seller isn't emailing me back. If this guy takes my money and runs, I will come after him. My brother gave me $20 and told me to add it in my fund, and I added another $20 to work with. So now I have $100 to spend and turn it into $10,000 one day. I think my goals are too high.
Melvin always has a New Years Wild Wild Party (yes, it's so wild that two "Wild"'s are needed to describe it). I can't wait, I'm hoping there will be lots of Pepsi Ones and women there. If not, I will be disappointed.
