I will now blog because Elisa Lau (Eliza Lau in bizarro-world) told me to.
I actually started blogging this morning, but stopped because I wasn't in the mood. But here goes.
Yesterday, I could sum up my day in one song: Josh Kelley's "I Saw You" Go download it illegally MP3 style if you haven't heard it.
Basically, I had to stay after school yesterday to do a library workshop for my English class. During the lecture on how to look up stuff in the library, some girl sat next to me. I didn't even glance over because I was so into how to find an article in Time Magazine from 1955 online (ok, I just felt that if I stared at her it would be all rude, Speaking of people staring, I will come back to it later in this post). Anyway, after the lecture, they gave us a test to see if we were listening, and would give us a certifate as proof we attended. Then the girl asked me a question, and I when I saw her, I was, as Data from Star Trek would say, intrigued. She was an asian girl, and she was pretty cute. Sorry Kenny, I wouldn't classify her as "hot" or "fine", but one of those girls you could bring home to your parents, you know, that kind of girl. We started some small talk, about what classes we were here for, what the answer for the first part was, etc. Anyway, it was 3:05, and I had a docs appointment at 4:15 with my dad waiting at home to drive me, so I figured I'd go home. So I gave her a lame fairwell. I actually said "Good luck on that test." Dude, I've said some pretty stupid things in my life (like the time a stranger asked me for directions, and then I thanked him. Or the time someone called my phone, had the wrong number, and then I said goodbye). Anyway, I left the library, and as I was halfway to my car, I decided to go back. I figured if I left, I'd never see her again for sure. So when I came back, she was talking to a librarian at the computers, so I casually occupied the computer two seats down. She later came up to me and said "Hello again." Of course, being the smooth guy that I am, I said Hello. I'm glad she didn't ask me why I came back, because I wouldn't know what to say. So to end the story, I did get her name. Not because I asked her, but because I saw her name on her paper.
Moral of the story. I didn't ask her name. I didn't get any contact information. Why didn't I get it you ask? Because I was scared if I did, she'd either think I was A) A stalker B) One of those extra friendly guys, aka Gay C) Mainly because she probably had a boyfriend and would tell me to beat it like Jacko. Yes, I am a scaredycat. Allan will go sulk in the corner now. I will be alone, forever, until my inflatable Kate Hudson doll arrives. I'm just not good at rejection. And I will probably never see her again.
Anyway, I'll get back to my point on people looking at certain directions. Yesterday in Psychology class, this one guy kept looking at my direction every 15 seconds. His friend was sitting next to me, so I figured he was looking at his friend. But why would a guy keep looking at his other guy friend every 15 seconds? It's not like my teacher was talking about anything funny and he wanted to see if he was laughing, she was talking about the spinal cord and the cerebellum. I have guy friends, but I don't keep looking at the them. That's just too SF City Hall, you know what I'm saying? And also, there's this guy who keeps asking stupid questions. He asks questions about stuff we just discussed. Recently, he asked "If two people were cloned and had the same brains, would they have the same personality?" Dude, we just had a entire lesson about how environment and genes equally play a role in how we act, meaning no two people are ever alike. This guy is lame. He's starting to rank up there with guys from my old History 17B class.
So yesterday, me and Martin went to Selina's house to play guitar. We played from 11PM - 2AM. My fingers were all busted up. Then they came over again to my house today, and busted up our figers some more. I wrote some lyrics a few weeks ago, and Martin and I wrote the music to it. It was pretty fun bouncing ideas off each other until we got the final product. I tried playing it a few hours ago but I already forgot how it went. We should've taped it so we wouldn't forget it. All we have are lyrics and chord letters. Hopefully he remembers how it sounds like.
A big week ahead. 3 exams and a rough draft essay due. Time to get into lonely mode. Thank you for reading.
