I don't like blood. Blood doesn't make me feel lightheaded, but I don't like the sight of it coming out of me during a bloodtest. This is why everytime I get a bloodtest, I turn my head away. However, today I needed to take a TB test. I could hear the lady at the front desk talking while I was sitting in the waiting room. She was asking the doctors if "Tonya" could give the TB test if she overlooked the procedure, and the doctors gave the ok. Then they called me in. There's nothing scarier than hearing a conversation whether or not one of the medical students is qualified to give shots yet, and you know you're the guy who's on the receiving end. Anyway, "Tonya" got the needle ready, and the lady came in to supervise. I hate watching needles go into me, but I was watching ever so closely as the needle went in to make sure she didn't miss and stick it into my chest. She injected the fluid, then pulled the needle out as I watched the entire time. The lady was amazed and said "Wow, you're not afraid of needles?" I answered "No." What I really meant to say was "No. But I am afraid of medical students."
