I'm finally done with finals! I just took my Econ one today, and it was pretty hard, but hopefully I did well. Summer is finally here, yay! How do I plan to spend my first days of summer you ask? By doing absolutely nothing (me and Pat can start a Do Nothing club, only he gets paid).
I looked back at an earlier post about what I said for each class after getting a first impression. My first impressions were a bit wrong. I said my English class would be difficult and that I would grow to hate my teacher. I also said I'd be her slave. English 1A actually did turn out to be the hardest class I've ever had work-wise, but I did not grow to hate my teacher nor did I become anybody's slave. In fact, my teacher and I were very cool and she even recommended me to be an English tutor next semester at CCSF's writing lab! How cool is that, I get an A and the hook-up for a possible job. I'll be interviewing in the summer, so maybe I'll be working part-time next semester. Imagine that, me, an Inglish tuter. Go figure!
I also said Mr. Kuhns, my business teacher, was "old" and "boring". I'm just glad I took his class and was fortunate to attend his last class. He always told us he never was going to retire, and in a way, he never really did.
As for Econ, I said there were a few nutjobs in the class. I wasn't too off about that. One of the guys me and Kenny always makes fun of (the guy who dropped his cookie on the floor, used his shoe to bring it closer to him, picked it up and ate it) came in today for the Econ final with 15 minutes left because he didn't know finals used a special schedule! HAHA. I called my math teacher "old-school", and he is. He's actually retiring and I know people are glad to see him go. And finally, psych, well, let's just say I did my job and made 0 friends in that class.
I was watching SF Youth Sports on tv and saw the Wash vs. Lowell Championship volleyball game. I also saw Alex on tv. Wow, Alex on tv, what a stud. I wish I were on tv. I was actually planning to go to that game and while they did the interviews, I would walk back and forth in the background to get some airtime. But unfortunately, I was in L.A. during the game, so maybe next semester you'll see Allan aka The Background Phantom on SF Youth Sports.
That guy from SF Youth Sports also said he likes Alex's style. HAHA, nice.
Have you ever had a girl wave in your direction, so you waved back thinking she was saying flirting with you. Then you turn around and realize her friend is behind you and she was actually waving to her? Have you ever had a girl say "Hi", so you said "Hi" back even though you could only see half of her face? Then she hears you, turns, and you realize she was talking on her cell phone using an earset on the other ear. If you said yes to both of these, you're suffering from Allan Syndrome. Sorry to tell you this, but just like Allan, you're a loser.
Dave will be back on Saturday with his digital camera, so I'll update this weekend with some pictures from my trip. It's All Over!!!
