Summer has been pretty quiet so far. I don't have too many exciting stories like I thought I would. I think going to class during the school year is the best way for me to get stories to tell on this site. Summer school has been going ok so far. There's not too many funny stories I get from my Asian Art History class because the people are so dull. There's this one white guy who keeps asking these stupid questions. But every class I take seems to have that one guy who just has this desire to learn more at everybody's expense.

I've also been working Monday-Wednesday at the book store at CCSF. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I just sit around and do nothing for 4 hours. In the 5 days of work I've had so far, I've finished writing my bible study message, skimmed/read three business books, and studied for my Asian Art History test. I'm in the middle of reading NBA Coach Pat Riley's book about business and life in the NBA. He said the Lakers signed Magic Johnson to a 25 year, $25 million dollar contract back in the 1980's. DUDE, 25 year contract?! That's totally a slave labor deal.

So how do I keep myself busy during this summer you ask? I've been working on my Leave It To Beaver impression. If you want me to do my short Beaver/Wally skit later, feel free to ask me and I'll do my bit. It's not very good but it's better than my Harold Reynolds of ESPN impression.

I had an interview last week for the English Tutoring job for next semester. The interview was totally harder than I expected, and I didn't come as prepared as I should have. I expected a few easy questions, and badda bing, badda boom, I'd get the job. But I was TOTALLY wrong. And to top it off, I called my boss/interviewer by the WRONG NAME when we started the interview! I felt like such a fool, but she was totally cool about it. After the hour long interview where she even made me read and critique an essay, I ended up getting the job. So I'll be "helping" people write their essays next semester at the writing center. This will definately be a challenge, and I think that's really what I'm looking for right now.

So that's the jist of my summer so far. If you'd like to make it more exciting, feel free to help me out. Or come stop by the bookstore and we can have a party. A book party that is.
