I'm going to confess. I ended up going to The Guitar Center today (after they sent me an ad saying they're moving and having a sale, yet I didn't see any For Sale signs) and I bought an electric guitar. I got a cheap (meaning quality, not price) Fender Squier electric guitar. I bought the package, meaning it came with an amp and gig case too. I could tell nobody buys them because the guy ringing it up for us said to his co-worker that it's been a while since they had to pull one out from the warehouse. Makes me feel like even more of an loser. But I'm happy with the guitar. It's a nice red one. I thought the red one looked kinda plain in the all the pictures I've seen, but it looks pretty sweet in person, almost like the color from the old classic cars you'd make-out in at the drive throughs. I mean...eat in, not make-out in.

All of a sudden, there's been a flurry of telemarketters calling me this weekend. We haven't had any for the past few months, but about 6 have called this week, one even calling at 9 PM. If I was really bored one day and they called me, like in the summer, I'd just spend an hour or so talking to them and not buying anything. I'd ask them where they're from, how their kids are doing, what type of underwear they're wearing, things like that. But I know they'd still try to sell me things. So I want to look for a list of phone numbers of all the telemarketters, and instead call them up during their dinner time to see if they want to talk to me. Then maybe they'll see how much of a bastard they are for interrupting my quiet time.

I was flipping through the channels late last night and there was this 1-900 ad for..."adult conversations." Of course I did not call, but the ad was showing these very attractive women, and I can understand why guys would call. But then I started thinking about whether attractive women would actually be on the other line, and it makes sense that they wouldn't. Why would a hot girl spend her time on the phone for a 1-900 company when she'd be using her attractive face for stripping or "adult cinema"? I figured that the 1-900 girls on the phone are the ugly ones who just sound good on the phone, but aren't attractive enough to get into the "acting" business, and I don't mean Hollywood.

I wonder if the telemarketters try to sell products to the 1-900 women.

I came upon the International channel and they were showing Japanese music videos. I didn't know that they were singing, but I really liked the beat. Then it hit me - If I were Japanese, this is the type of music I'd be listening to. They were the Japanese John Mayer equivalent.

My uncle was telling me how if I worked for a company, maybe they'd send me over the world to do business. I know Martin gets sent all over the US, and maybe I could find a job that'd do that for me too. I'd really like to visit/live in other locations for a while. I'd even be willing to live in Japan. I don't think they have as many telemarketters there.
