It's time for a new Pope.
*I haven't accomplished much this Spring Break. It's kind of a bummer. I did catch up with a couple of friends, and that was nice. Maybe summer will hold better things for me. Since Math Camp will be over at FS Key, I can just walk over every day. I'm actually looking forward to math camp. Maybe the fact that it's also only 5 weeks is a good thing. Those of you who have worked there knows how the weeks break down:
Week 1: All the kids are scared and timid. Most of the kids are new and don't have many friends.
Week 2: Kids are starting to loosen up. Teachers find their regular class to teach and try to make friends with the kids.
Week 3: The kids have formed Pokemen and Digimen clubs. Math camp girls are hooking up with math camp guys.
Week 4: None of the kids listen to the lectures anymore, except the one kid who actually signed up to Math Camp to learn math (I can relate to this nerd, I mean, student). All hell has broken loose. Windows have been shattered, buildings are on fire, animals are being slaughtered and offered as sacrifices.
Week 5: Half the kids have stopped showing up. Alex starts his 12 purple otter pops for $.18 sale. Cup O Noodles sell at 16 for $3. Students bring cameras to capture the moment. Screen names are exchanged and people are bothered until the next math camp.
