My third day at Berkeley is just about over. I slept really well last night with no interuptions. I must be tired from all the walking around. I'm still very much scared about this semester and the work it's going to bring. I just was told my Stats professor is hard, basically because he wrote the textbook I'm using and that's not a good sign. I guess that's like going to Bible College and having God as your professor. It doesn't matter how hard you try on a quiz about the Bible, if you slip even the slightest, He'll point it out because he wrote the Book.

Speaking of the Bible, it's been the only thing this week that I've looked forward to reading. I'm finally done with Genesis. It's funny how it's so hard to read the Bible during the summer but once you have a choice between the Bible or an econ textbook, you don't even hesitate. One of my favorite comedians Dane Cook once said that there should be someone at the DMV entrance to punch you in the face when you walk inside so waiting in line won't be as bad.

Economics is pretty hard. I'm trying to grasp all the concepts and at the same time convince myself this is what I want to do. In a sense, there's no turning back now. I guess I am scared that I possibly made a wrong choice in my decision to major in economics, but then again, I didn't give myself a lot of options since I ruled out everything dealing with science. Science just doesn't interest me. I'll leave all that science related business to all you scientists out there. There are certain parts about economics I enjoy, but where I have to do all that math related business to find the marginal utilities and elasticities, I get pissed.

I had a burrito for lunch today. I ate it at the apartment alone while watching some movies on HBO. I also have been watching plenty of ESPN News, which is a good channel. The news gets a little repetitive after a while though, so I flip through the channels. One channel we get that's really cool is this channel that's basically the security camera for our building divided into 4 screens. One shows the front door downstairs, one shows the block leading up to the front door, one shows our 7th level study room, and the last one is of our garbage level two floors below our place. It's kind of fun watching people pass by or walk in the building. I figure this is the only show on cable that's willing to give me a chance as an actor, so I'm going to have to be the main character and make this channel successful.

I went to get my dinner at Walgreens today. I figured they'd have some kind of canned vegetables for me to eat because I've gotten like, 0 servings of fruits and vegetables since Sunday. I did eat some salsa with my burrto today but I don't know if that counts. Anyway, I was walking around Walgreens but there was absolutely no canned vegetables. I was pretty shocked. Somehow, Walgreens manages to carry 4 kinds of canned pineapple but no canned vegetables. I ended up eating rice and Chef Boyardi Spaghetti and Meatballs for dinner. I thought the sauce would go good with my rice, but it didn't go together at all. I was disappointed. It was more like SpaGhetto and Meatballs.

While I was sorting through all the canned pineapples, some girl next to me turned around and her backpack knocked over a jar of olives. It crashed to the ground and she screamed in shock. The lady at the counter called for cleanup on aisle 7. I just got my Chef Boyardi then moved to the next aisle because I wanted to flee the scene. I didn't want anyone to think I was part of the accident. The funny thing was that by the time I got to the next aisle, that girl fled too. That's a hit and run.
