One of the things I promised myself this year was that I would take lots of pictures. I've done a pretty good job of living up to that promise so far. I guess I regretted all the times that I didn't have a camera with me and I didn't capture the moment in the form of a picture. It's nice to have a little keepsake from moments that meant a lot to me. I took a lot during my trip in Canada, the last day of Mathcamp, and finally, here are some from CCU Volleyball with commentary. Be sure to click on all the pictures to enlarge the photos if needed:

Here's our team, The Brian Qwan Connection featuring Alex. As you can see, teammates Brian, Peony, Christina, and Shelley are not pictured. From left to right, you have me, Alex, Jenica, Natalie, Pat, and Kenny on the bottom. He looks pretty angry.
Afterwards, Kenny and Pat decided to play a little one on one basketball with a volleyball. Kenny made sure Pat didn't score at any cost:

Pat retaliated with a monster jam. "Throw it down big man":

We finished 4th place in CCU Volleyball this year. Unfortunately, there are only 5 teams in our division, and we won most games by forfeit. And we also didn't get a ribbon because only the top 3 get them (we were behind the 3rd place team, The Ambassadors, by only 1 full game in the standings). There's always next year.
While I was in Canada, I took a notebook with me so I could write and draw in the airport and in my aunt's house. I do miss the people in Canada very much, but I hope that as school starts and I get busy again, my mind will refocus on things here. My cousin in Portland is getting married next year, so if I can somehow avoid summer school and getting a job (although my mom is going to want me to get one), I might take some road trips to Portland for the wedding and Anaheim for the annual sports card convention. I hope to do Math Camp again. I'll also be 21 by then, so maybe Big Al's deserves a stop. I leave you now with a new Adventures of Bevis and Spud:
