Just came back from Bible Study and McDonald's with Pat. Good to catch up with him, talk some Econ like nerds, talk about girls, haha.
Jenny gave her Bible Study message today about her year in review, which was cool. Her dad seems to be in the middle of all these crime scenes, like he's Superman. The Richmond district is too dangerous for me.
I got my Scandinavian essay reread and regraded by my professor. She actually doesn't read the essays we turn it, but her TA does. What happened was that I went to the TA and showed him my rough draft essay the day before the paper was due to get some feedback, and he loved my ending. I actually wrote my ending about my love for carrot cake and how I feel sorry for it at CBC events (the topic of my essay was value and how it is assigned to objects). He must've gotten confused becaue he wrote on my essay "Same Ending?" and gave me a low grade because he thought I used the same ending from my previous essay, when it fact, the ending looks familiar to him because he read my rough draft and must've forgotten about that. Anyway, I went to see her at her office hours for a completely different thing but she noticed how crestfallen I looked when I got my paper back that she knew something was wrong. It was her idea to reread it in fact, and she bumped it up to an A- because it's pretty obvious I wouldn't use the exact same ending to two completely different essays. The final for her class that I just took, well... that's a different story.
My dad bought a carton of eggnog.
Ed treated me to dinner at the DC yesterday, Crossroads. I made some pretty costly rookie moves: I grabbed the vegetarian pizza (it looked like chicken bacon pizza, but it was nasty). I went to the pasta section and there were two kinds of sauce. When the girl asked me which sauce I wanted, I looked at the sign quickly, and said "Fettucini." Then she asked me again, and I said "Fettucini sauce." Then she said fettucini was the name of the noodles. Then I looked at the sign again and said I'll take the alfredo sauce. By then I had already lost any respect she once had for me.
I should do a year in review too, with my New Years Resolutions.
I wanna play Madden 2006 so bad, but I have to study for Econ, Stats, and Linguistics. Soon, I will be free. But until then, I will have finals to keep me busy. Until next time.
