Been up to a lot of nothing so far. Video games, guitar, drawing, trying to learn Excel, Photoshop, and Powerpoint, hanging out with people, sports. I have about one week left before my second semester begins. I hope I can have a productive week, meaning I don't waste it away.
Me, Kenny, Peony, Alex, Christina, and Brian went to go play volleyball last week. There was this boyfriend and girlfriend playing on the other side. Apparently, all of us kept hitting it at the girl. Alex spiked it on her and almost hit her in the head. Supposedly I hit it at her a few times too, but you guys should know by now that I have no aim when it comes to volleyball, so I never do anything intentionally. I guess the boyfriend got really mad that we were hitting it to his girlfriend so he tried to spike it back at us, but his tensing up only made him play worse. The guys got a laugh out of that.
Me and Kenny were playing NHL 2006 on PS2 today at Peony's house (the game actually belongs to Pat). It's so much fun, but only when you set the options so that there are no penalties. Even with all the checking, we still couldn't win. Me and Peony did tie once. Me and Kenny had a tie going into the third period but then some guy with the last name Semin scored on us. That game and Spider-Man where you can just beat up people non-stop are really fun.
Tom Brady and his Patriots advance to the next round. I feel bad for Carson Palmer, not only did he lose the game, but he gets hurt and is going to be out for a while. At least Eli Manning still has his health, although the people in New York might change that the way they treat althetes in their city.
Artest to the Warriors? Josh Fogg and Russ Branyan to the Giants?
CBC Basketball has finally started. I was so winded after today's game. I played pretty badly but it was just "preseason." Plus it doesn't make any sense that half of College 2 team belongs to the He-Man team. Does that mean I could potentially be playing half my teammates in the championship game? And what about those guys that do belong to both teams? Doesn't that mean their chances of winning a championship are greater than mine by the fact they are on two rosters? Apparently I am not He-Man enough. I will show you who's a He-Man.
Anyone else find that Yahoo news is sometimes really lame? There was a link on their homepage with this article: "Wing beat key to learning how bees fly - study." Wow, what an interesting study Yahoo. I wonder which University spent billions of dollars trying to figure that out.
As requested, the end has finally come for Pea Pablo. He had a good run while it lasted.
