It's that time of the month that makes me cranky and gives me mood swings. That's right, it's back to school time. I've really had a great vacation. Normally, my breaks are uneventful and I just end up wasting them. But I really feel this Christmas vacation was good, because I got to catch up with a lot of friends. During the school year, my head is so buried into my books that I sort of lost touch with the real world. I know this semester will probably be similar in that sense, but I will do my best to "relax" a little more and enjoy my life. I got to spend time with family and friends, finally get some drawing done, actually play some guitar, play lots of video games that require me to check other hockey players or smash other cars into walls. The one thing that I did seem to phase out during my vacation was my Bible reading and intense prayer, so I need to make sure I bring that back. Hopefully Spring 2006 will be a-ok.
I leave you now with a slideshow:

Here's the courtyard to the building I live in, the Gaia Building. People play chess in the courtyard sometimes during the day.

Some prankster actually hid one of the chess pieces in a nearby tree. I thought that was pretty funny. But that's just me, and I have a weird sense of humor.

That's my dad walking down a pathway. I think it's called the Frank Schlessinger Way or something like that. I walked down this path many times last semester going to the Student Learning Center for tutoring twice a week.

This is the famous Sather Gate. There's always an old Chinese guy playing his old Chinese instrument under Sather Gate. I don't think I've ever seen anyone give him any money. Maybe I'll give him some money this semester. Either that or I'll go buy myself a donut. Probably the donut.

This is the Campanile. It rings every hour. It's one of the worst sounds ever. Every time I heard it during finals, it just made me think my doomsday is one hour closer. Plus it's always playing some horrible music during the morning when I'm trying to listen to my John Mayer on my iPod.

Later that day me, Kenny, and Alex went to Starbucks to visit Peony. Shirley and Abby happened to be there too. Some nice man came by our table and said that Abby was a beautiful baby. Alex took the credit, even though I'm positive he had nothing to do with it. I bet when I was kid, people stopped by and told my parents what an ugly child I am.
Then we went over to Garson and Shirley's house and watched Wedding Crashers. It's a very good movie, with a nice one minute scene in the beginning of naked women flying that was totally unnecessary but a nice bonus for the male viewers. Rachel McAdams is also a nice bonus for the male viewers.
Then today me Kenny and Brian went to go watch Peony play volleyball. I took some great action photos:

Here's Peony getting ready with her teammates.

Here's Peony stretching.
I thought those photos were so action packed, that I didn't bother to take anything else. Me and Kenny did spot some guy who resembled Justin Timberlake. I took a picture of him but I'm saving that one for the tabloids.
