So I went to be HK for a bit and bought some tapioca. As I was walking back to my place, there was this Asian guy and girl couple, and this other asian girl behind them. Then I see them from 10 feet away start yelling at each other. Apparently, the girl with the boyfriend spilled some of her taro root tapioca while walking and it flew backwards and landed on the pants of the other Asian girl. This was like the Seinfeld episode with Keith Hernandez spitting on Kramer and Newman. Anyway, they start jawing at each other. I'll call the girl with the tapioca and boyfriend Latisha, and the girl with the stained pants Quaneesha. So Quaneesha was like "(___), you better appologize (___)" By the way, I'm censoring this in case any children happen to read my blog. And then Latisha was like "(___), I aint gonna appologize if you're gonna talk to me like that." Then they walk away, but Quaneesha keeps following the couple. By this time, I decided to slow down because I was right behind them. I didn't want to get in the middle of any flying nails.

By the time they got to a crosswalk, it seemed like Quaneesha had had enough and was going to go to the other direction. The boyfriend had gotten between the two the entire time to break up any potential fighting. In my mind, I was like "Dude, get out of the way!" I keed. You know me, I don't promote violence. I'm all about peace. They were still jawing at each other this whole time, while I just happened to follow behind drinking my tapioca (which I bought from this new place and it was pretty crappy). I thought it was all over, when 1 minute later, Quaneesha pops out of nowhere and they start swearing at each other again. I guess she fooled all of us into thinking she went the other way. Then Latisha said she was going to call the campus police and she busts out her cell phone. I'm really glad we have the Berkeley Campus Police to settle disputes over stained pants. It really makes me at ease to know they'll be there whenever a stain dispute arises. As much as I would've liked to follow them, I had to go another way so I did not see what happened.

I learned a lot today. Many lessons were taught. I'd like to share them with you:

1. Asian on Asian violence still exists today.
2. Pants can stain. Do yourself a favor and buy stainproof pants. Or don't wear any at all.

Most importantly...
3. Don't buy taro root tapioca. Taro root tapioca may end lives. There needs to be a Warning label on the side of these drinks. "Caution: Tapioca drink may lead to catfights."
