Good news. Tom and Katie had a healthy baby girl. Now I can finally go to sleep with some peace of mind because I haven't been able to sleep well for the past 9 months.

On a sad note, just after a few weeks of sending me back an autographed card, Fred Hoiberg has retired. and has taken a job in the Timberwolves front office. I never got to see him play in person. However, this probably gives him more time to answer fan mail. Kenny said I should just keep sending him "casual letters." Maybe I'll invite him to our next church concert.

Also, today is the anniversary of the longest professional baseball game ever played, which lasted 33 innings between the Pawtucket Red Sox and Rochester Red Wings. The 0-11 with 8 strikeouts is a rough game. I also like how the pitcher threw 10 innings out shutout ball and didn't even get a win. I wouldn't mind playing a 33 inning softball game. Imagine taking grounders and catching fly balls with night vision goggles.
