CCU Volleyball today. Unfortunately, there's only 4 more days of it left. I wish it would go until August to give me something to look forward to, but there's just not enough days of CCU Volleyball remaining. I tried to take some pictures today from our games, but many came out blurry. Here's this year's team photo:

I also have a picture of Ben getting "Presidential", but I'll stash that one away into my secret photos. I'll take some CCU Softball pictures this coming week.

Math Camp has been pretty good. The kids have been fun, and I'm learning more and more names each day. It seems like an impossible goal to memorize all 200 names, as I'm nowhere close to that. I think it is important to remember names and faces because I was always the guy who the teacher could never remember, and it really did hurt. In my music class at CCSF, I was literally the only guy my teacher could not remember, and I knew it because when he called roll, he breezed through the list until he got to my name, then had to stop and ask for me to raise my hand and show that I existed. Yea, I exist.

Sometimes I wonder how significant the Math Camp program really is, and whether or not I'm even getting through to any of these kids. I only see them for 4 weeks of the year. However, I spent a portion of today around two people who I did teach years ago, and they're still following God, so maybe I'm doing something right.

We will be having a Bible Study at church this Saturday and looking at the book of Romans. I know many attend the Friday evening Bible Study, but for anyone who really wants to look closer at the Bible or just to get away from the normal routine, Alex, Kenny, and I will be leading it. However, Alex will be away on his missionary trip. Everybody is welcome and encouraged to come. I will also do my best to provide some food. If you like Safeway Lemonade, then the Saturday night Bible Study is the place to be.
