I have so much confidence in my CBF teammates, that I decided to take this past week off. Actually, my cousin got married in Portland. Driving to Portland takes about 12 hours if you take a few breaks here and there, and stop for lunch. 12 hours of driving is not fun at all. Portland in general is not fun at all. I'll let my superb picture taking explain my 5 day trip for you:

Driving through California, I found a lot of places I hadn't heard of before. We found a rest stop at Weed, California. Ironically, we also passed by the Rose Garden later in our trip, home of the NBA's Portland Trailblazers, who are known to "light it up", on and off the court.

Here I am at Multnomah Falls. All by myself.

Later that day, we went out to dinner at Salty's seafood restuarant. Here's a picture of me at the front of the restaurant, all by myself.

The next day was the wedding. It was held at a Golf Course/Country Club. There were actually people on the putting green practicing while the ceremony was going on. The reverend kept using golf references and compared the golf course to a marriage. It felt like he was making up stuff on the spot. Here's a picture of me at the front of the country club.

After the ceremony, there were refreshments! I grabbed some punch and fruit, and sat by a nearby table. However, nobody wanted to sit with me.

Later that night was the wedding dinner. I got there early to get a good seat. I guess I got there a little too early.

For dessert, the bride and groom served us their wedding cake, which turned out to be my favorite: carrot cake! I was happy. For once, the lonliest cake in the cake nation was king for a day.

I tried to get into the VIP afterparty, but they wouldn't let me in because I didn't have enough friends with me.

The End.
