I'm slowly approaching 500 posts. That just means I've been bored enough to write something in 500 days of my life.

I would say that today was pretty eventful. We went to go watch/ref some softball games today. I'm glad they didn't make us ref the game that had our playoff seed on the line. It was a close game, but a two out single in the bottom of the 7th drove home the game winning run, pushing us into the playoffs by a narrow margin. The playoffs begin next week, and you have to treat it like a whole new season and throw out all the records because it's anyone's game now.

We had our secret Bible Study at night. We also played Shirley's Karaoke game on PS2 as entertainment. Apparently, I'm got the range for You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman. Kenny and Ben were also very good. Don't worry Shirley, we'll have Karaoke night some Saturday. Where's all the John Mayer at?

Giants rookie pitcher Matt Cain. Glad to get this one before he becomes a star and starts ignoring his fan mail. It's unfortunate he signed it in a light faded pen. I was probably one of the last ones he signed before his pen died out. Pretty cool nonetheless.


Houston Astros pitcher Brandon Backe. He's a clutch postseason pitcher.

I've got two weeks before school starts, sadly. It's been a fun summer though. I recently quit my job at iSoldit because of school. My boss and two co-workers took me out to dinner at Houstons. Probably the best prime rib French dip sandwich I ever had. We even toasted my last days at iSoldit with a glass of prime rib au jus sauce. The female waiter gave us a weird stare when we asked for an extra glass of au jus sauce and when we refused to give up our sauce when they were clearing the table.

I've sadly put up my electric guitar on eBay. I guess I'm a sellout. I'm just trying to salvage some money and maybe put it towards that sage green Fender I have a picture of below. Or even if I don't buy a new electric guitar, I'll just keep that extra money in reserve. Because like we determined today at our secret Bible Study, girls will suck the living daylights out of your bank account. Better start saving now fellas.
