The CBC Olympics Cont...
Now that I've screwed up and finished my midterm, I have returned to the blog world. I officially hate midterms by the way. Anyway, back to more pictures and commentary:

The first event was the 800 meter dash. This run is for those with endurance and heart. Hey Alex, wrong way!
Ben came in blazing in first place, with Martin second. Some would say Ben killed in this competition, but by the looks of his face afterwards, it looked like the only things Ben killed were his internal organs.

Next came the softball toss. I think I came in last in this competition. Ironic that I play 3rd base for us and I have the weakest arm. Yet I've won two Gold Gloves. Go figure. Nice throw Alex!

Next came the longjump competition. These were by far the craziest pictures of the day. Martin won this competition, with Roger second. I think I finished last in this one too. Too much fairy prancing for me.

Then we had the soccer kickout. We each had to pick a spot and kick. We were each given three tries, and the person who makes it and hits the furthest shot gets the most points. I'm sure you've all heard of Goldfinger. Well after this kick from 35 yards, I was Purpletoe. I jammed my big toe and it's all purple under the nail. But, this kick did give me my lone 1 point in the Olympics at the expense of me walking comfortably for the next three weeks. Was it worth it? Yes, because champions never give up.
Lastly, we had the 100 Meter Dash. I would post pictures but Blogger says I've run out of space. Stay tuned for pictures from this upcoming Sundays event. I'm aiming to get Gold in the Sudoku competition. However, Juan Mayor and Tony El Tigre have been on a huge slump, and I'm no longer up there in SudokuCombat. Am I clutch?
