So the Cardinals won the World Series. If you refer back to my predictions, I predicted them to get beat in the first round. I guess I'm horrible at predictions. But I will admit it was a nice feel-good story to see a group of guys nobody thought would win come out on top. All I need is for the Giants to win a World Series. I don't want to be 80 years old and never see a championship. I think the Warriors have a better chance at winning a championship this season. A new basketball season is finally upon us. We had our Fantasy Basketball draft on Sunday after church. I got a lot of the players I aimed to get, including Troy Murphy. This guy is a beast. He's also got some Jim Halpert features:





Unfortunately, I will not be doing anything for Halloween. In fact, I didn't even get to help out at the church carnival because they had enough high school workers. In a way, it's good that there were enough high schoolers willing to volunteer, but I was also looking forward to being a carny. There was a game with the Jason Friday the 13th mask and kids had to throw little beanbags at it. Kenny and I looked closer at the sign for the game and there was a picture of a hockey goalie. Nathan said he couldn't find a picture of the real Jason.
